Take a moment and imagine a leather Facebook or Myspace, and then imagine it being run by and for kinky folks. That is exactly what Fetlife is! It is the coolest new community site out there for pervs, and it is absolutely 100% free. I had been hearing the buzz about this new spot on the web from a few of my lifestyle friends, and I finally decided to go set up an account and take a look myself. Many years ago I had been on other sites that promised community and allowed free communication, but since those sites have sold to other companies their soul has left the building and communication costs money. It is also communication that is no longer under the nurturing ownership of perverts with a personal interest in our tribe. I'd lost interest, and so had most of my friends. I was hoping that this site could be some of what I was missing on the old ones. Wow, I wasn't disappointed! I immediately ran into some of my old friends, and then ran off to recruit new ones. It is easy to sign up. Once you have, then you set up a profile. You can add pics to it, and you'll never run into that "you have to have such and such membership" to view pics or show them to others. There are social groups here with ongoing forum conversations, so you can sign up for topics that interest you (or create your own groups). There is a mail system that acts like a personal bulletin board for private conversations, so you don't lose track of what has been said to anyone. You can post writing, see what your friends are doing, and a lot more. A lot of talented pervs are posting writing and engaging in conversation here. I've met a lot of new friends. There is a small amount of advertising, but it is done really tastefully and never gets in the way. You can write to the folks that run the site, and they will actually write you back. I've been in love with this place and raving about it for the last several weeks. This is one of the few sites that didn't ask for review. I sought out the owner and asked him if I could post one. Two words: Lesbian Fiction. I almost never get to review this, and it is some of my favorite stuff! This site features, "...[O]riginal, well-crafted, strongly-plotted lesbian and female-centric works of short fiction." There are only about four stories here at the moment, and they are as diverse in genre as science fiction and historical romance. I'm certain that once the word gets out, they'll have a lot more available. If you are looking for a good home for your fiction, you might want to submit something. I'm a bit sketchy about the content that they eventually want to fill the site with, but from what I read they seem to want to represent non-kinky lesbian fiction. In addition to the stories, there are book reviews and interviews with authors. I love the tone and design of the site, and I think this definitely addresses a group of folks that are really under represented in erotica. Great idea, and great execution. Foot domination is one of my main kinks, so I was more than happy to see this site ask for review. I'm always skeptical about foot fetish sites, since they can completely miss the mark. I loved this site! It is a flash video guide to sensual breast massage that really does an excellent job of presenting information in a hands-on and educational fashion. I counted around 18 videos here. The longest is a video Breast Massage Guide that takes you through over 20 different ways to pleasantly massage the breasts. The video is around 11 and a half minutes long, and you could easily follow along with a partner. If you want a better look at particular strokes, there are around 9 videos featuring up close tutorials of individual movements. There is also another section called "massage sequences" that is less instructional, but more fluid. It shows a lot of self and partnered massage in a series of around 8 clips. A small group of reviewers, who are also often established authors within the genre of erotica, are slowly building an archive of extremely honest and blunt reviews. You can browse their newest reviews, or look for a specific author or editor. You can also just thumb through an archive. The organization of the site is simple, and there aren't a lot of bells and whistles to distract you from the writing. I read through a couple of the pieces, and I found the tone to be very frank. What a great blog! I often seem to read material by female submissives, but it is rare to find a genuine blog by a lifestyle dominant. This is special. Ned Rosen's work (and collaborative work with his partner) can be found many places on the internet, but this site focuses on some of his images that deal with fetish.
